Charges range from $30 to $50 depending on the length of time of each session and the distance from the nearest qualified and available tutor. The minimum time for a session is one hour. A minimum of two sessions a week is recommended. Sessions are conducted on a one-on-one basis in the student’s home or public library.
To initiate services, an introductory meeting to discuss our program is arranged, at no cost to you, with Mr. and Mrs. Hedger. At this time, we discuss our program in more detail, listen to just what your expectations are for tutoring, and answer any questions you may have. If parents/students wish to begin tutoring, a service agreement is gone over at this time and must be signed, along with the payment of the first month’s tutoring, usually eight sessions per month. After this initial payment, and for as long as you continue with us, payments will be due the first of each month. Payments may be made by check, money order, or cash. Each student is then carefully matched with a tutor that will call you, usually within forty-eight hours or less.
